Taking a trip down memory lane, this year’s mooncake box is inspired by lanterns found in hands of children during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The round cut out signifies both the moon and the spirit of 团圆 (reunion). A time when families gather together to enjoy meals, share mooncakes and appreciate the full moon as children run around with colourful lanterns.
The hallmark of this festival is its warm ambience and displaying of lanterns - often seen to pray for good fortune.
